During the offseason Virginia Tech offered 2015 athlete Jordan Adams from Reisterstown (Md.) Franklin. Earlier this week the Hokies offered Rivals250 Watch List member Pat Allen, an offensive lineman at the same school.
"I talked to Coach Aaron Moorehead and he told me I have an offer," said the 6-foot-5, 280-pound Allen. "He seems like humble and good coach. He's very honest and will tell you the truth.
"I haven't made it down there yet," he said. "I might go down there with my team if I have a chance to.

"I know that Jordan likes Virginia Tech," Allen said. "I know they offered him first. It's a really good school. I know they're big on wide receivers and on offensive linemen. They have a good program that is working their way back into the ACC. "
Allen is one of the top offensive linemen in the Mid-Atlantic's junior class and already has double digit offers. More offers look like they could be on the horizon.
"I'm getting a lot of mail from Missouri, Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Rutgers, East Carolina and North Carolina," he said. "I have a stack of mail I haven't even opened yet."
Allen doesn't have any visits planned right now but does know of one trip he is taking during the next few months.
"I know that I'm going to the Under Armour All-American Combine," said Allen.
