2015 R250 DB focused on title

Recruiting has taken a backseat to the season for Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph's stand out defensive back John Reid. Reid has helped St. Joseph's to a birth in the PIAA state championship game against Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic.
"I've briefly talked to a few coaches but most of my contact with them is on Facebook," said the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Reid. "I get a lot of mail too.

"Most of my mail is from Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan and Alabama," he said. "I always have so much stuff to do but I've been pretty good with looking at it all.
"On Facebook I've talked to coach Cristobal and a lot of coaches from Rutgers and Penn State," Reid said. "I'm also messaging Notre Dame, Maryland, Michigan State a lot of other schools."
Reid's offer sheet extends well into the double digits.
"Virginia, Michigan and Pittsburgh were my last offers," he said. "I have a really strong relationship with the guy from Penn State and Rutgers."
Having been so focused on the season, Reid has not taken many visits lately but he plans to have a busy offseason.
"I think I want to take a look at Georgia, LSU and Florida," said Reid. "I think I'm definitely going to visit Michigan and Florida."
In the 2015 Rivals250 Reid is ranked at No. 107.
