MORE: 2015 ATH Locksley raking in offers
Not many people know much about Kamonte Carter, but the 2015 Rivals250 Watch List athlete from Gaithersburg (Md.) has been showing he is deserving of more recognition on the field this season.

"We've only played two games so far," the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Carter said. "In my last game, I had four and a half sacks and three tackles for a loss."
Schools like Michigan, Penn State, Maryland and eight other schools have offered Carter, but they are not the only schools that are interested.
"I'm getting a lot of mail," he said. "I'm constantly getting letters from Indiana, Temple, Mississippi State, Alabama, UCLA, Oregon and others. Indiana or Alabama might be the next to offer."
Carter's last visits were both in the state of Michigan.
"I loved the academics at Michigan State," Carter said. "It really blew me away. It got to sit down some of the players and bonded with them a little bit. I really liked it up there. Coach (Mark) Dantonio was great.
"Everybody knows about the Michigan Big House," Carter continued. "Both of those visits were really good. Coach (Brady) Hoke is a great coach. It looked like he was really hands-on, and I liked that. They said the sky is the limit with me."
Carter does not have any other visits planned right now.
