2015 QB Waller pulls first offer

Offer No. 1 came in recently for 2015 quarterback Travis Waller out of Anaheim (Cali.) Servite. The 6-foot-4, 185-pounder discussed the scholarship and his early leaders.
"I have one offer from Washington," he said. "I got it two Fridays ago.

"I was really excited. I was surprised to get my first one from Washington. Now, I just got to keep looking forward and keep working."
Waller noted he isn't familiar with Washington, but says he plans to visit the school in the offseason to find out more.
Meanwhile, interest is growing from other schools including Boise State, BYU, Oregon, Notre Dame, Indiana and Missouri.
"They are just saying that I am the type of guy they could use on offense and they want to look more into me."
Waller noted a few early leaders.
"I like UCLA a lot, hopefully I can get my name out to them more," he said. "I would say Oregon and Washington are also top ones for me.
"I like the spread offense. I think it fits me well and uses my athleticism. I can make a play of plays with that kind of offense, so I like those schools cause of that."
Despite a 3-7 season, Waller accounted for over 2,500-yards of offense and 24 touchdowns.
"I think I did really well," he said ."I passed for 1,350-yards and ran for 1,200. We did the spread this year and that really helped. I think I showed I can really run the ball, I'm good at scrambling. I could also pass, I hit the open wide receiver."
Waller is receiving looks for track as well, but isn't looking at pursuing that in college.
