2015 OTSheedy holds offer, takes visits

2015 offensive tackle Keegan Sheedy out of Lancaster (Pa.) Lancaster Catholic claims one offer at this time. The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder is seeing his recruitment pick up as he's taken a number of visits this fall.
"I have one offer from Lafayette," he said. "I got that back in June and it's a great start. Their facilities are state of the art and it was really exciting to get my first offer."

Meanwhile, many other schools including Penn State, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Boston College, Nebraska and Delaware are interested.
"A lot of them have said they'll talk more seriously with me after the season or when they get to meet me in person."
Sheedy is starting to do that, but heading out for visits.
"I was just at Delaware this past weekend," he said. "I have also visited Virginia, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Northwestern this fall.
"Of the visits, I really liked Virginia. The facilities there stood out, they were brand new. I liked the stadium and I got to meet the coaches. They seem like great people."
Sheedy is eyeing one more visit this fall to Vanderbilt on November 30th for the Wake Forest game.
According to the lineman, three teams stand out early on.
"I really like Delaware, Virginia and Penn State," he said. "I think it's just the fact I can see myself at those schools. They are all good distances from home and play the kind of football I like. They also provide a good combination of academics and athletics."
Sheedy helped his team to a second round playoff berth after an 0-3 start. In the process, he had a breakout season.
"I had a great year," he said. "I started both ways last year, but this season we were much more pass first, so I changed it up and got accustomed to that. It was good, cause last year we were a running team and I was doing well there."
