2015 OT talks Canes, Cincinnati

It's still very early in the process for class of 2015 Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic offensive tackle William Atterbury but the 6-foot-5, 280-pounder is already getting some big looks from major programs.
Atterbury recently camped at Florida State and Miami and drew strong reviews and already has offers from Cincinnati and Florida International.

Atterbury said he's taken away some valuable lessons from the camp circuit and is already hard at work to put some of the things he's learned into action.
"There's always room for improvement and when you see guys at Miami and Florida State walking around you realize how big and strong and athletic they are," he said. "You see how much further you need to push yourself to get to that level."
Atterbury said he really enjoyed his time on campus at Miami and he's hoping he did enough to eventually earn an offer from the Canes.
"I really do like the Miami area and I've seen their campus and it's very nice," he said. "[Offensive line] Coach [Art} Keo was really helpful and we worked out a lot. He teaches a lot of technique and that's what I need to work on right now."
Since picking up a Cincinnati offer in May, Atterbury said he hasn't really been in contact with the Bearcats staff but he hopes that changes in the future.
"During the spring a lot of coaches cam through to see other guys on our team," he said. "The Cincinnati coaches were watching one-on-ones and I impressed them enough and they saw something in me to earn an offer and that means a lot to me."
With at least three of his older teammates receiving strong Division I interest, Atterbury figures he will have plenty of chances to impress going forward.
"There are a lot of schools that come to see my teammate (2014 three-star defensive end) Justus Reed," Atterbury said. "If I have a good day against him schools are usually impressed so I'm sure they will be watching me this fall."
