2015 OT ready for Kentucky, Purdue visits

After catching the eye of the Kentucky coaches last month and earning his first offer courtesy of the Wildcats, Class of 2015 Henderson (Ky.) Henderson County offensive lineman Mason Wolfe is eager to get on campus in Lexington and get a closer look at the program.
Wolfe said he'll be attending junior day on Jan. 16 and will follow that up with a trip to Purdue on Feb. 1.

Since Kentucky offered, Wolfe said he's been in regular contact with the Kentucky staff.
"Coach [Neal] Brown came to my school about a week or so after they offered me," Wolfe said. "I've also been talking to Coach [John] Schlarman on the phone every now and then."
According to Wolfe, he and Schlarman, who would be his position coach at Kentucky, have hit it off well. He's hoping his upcoming visit will shed more light on what the school has to offer.
"I want to see what the school is actually about," he said.
When it comes to Purdue, he's hoping a visit will kick start a relationship with that staff.
"I want to go up there and see the schools and get a relationship started with the coaches," Wolfe said. "I know that they're interested but I really don't know how much."
