2015 LB recaps Georgia visit, talks Clemson

Class of 2015 Blythewood (S.C.) linebacker Hassan Belton made a trip south to Georgia this past weekend and really made it worth his while. First, he stopped in Athens for Georgia's junior day on Saturday, then on Sunday he was one of the top performers at the Georgia Showcase.

He said he really enjoyed his time on Georgia's campus.
"I love it," Belton said. "It was a really fun experience. I met coach (Mike) Ekeler, the new linebackers coach, and I loved him. He showed us film in a way I've never seen it before. I just love the whole experience. They've been showing me a lot of interest."
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Belton is still waiting on his first offer, and aid he knows he'll have to camp at Georgia this summer to impress the Bulldogs' coaches. In the meantime, he's going to stay busy with visits.
"I'm going to Charlotte this weekend and Duke has been showing a lot of interest too," Belton said.
One school that's he's hoping joins is list soon is Clemson. It was just earlier this month that the Tigers signed another Blythewood linebacker.
"Clemson has been showing a lot of interest," Belton said. "My best friend, Jalen Williams, he signed with Clemson, so they've been looking at me for a while."
