2015 LB close to more offers

Every year the Virginia Beach area has multiple division one prospects. One of the top ones in the 2015 class is Jahvoni Simmons. The linebacker from Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes has eight offers and many other big time programs are showing serious interest.
"I've been hearing from schools all over the place," said the 6-foot, 225-pound Simmons. "I've mostly been in contact with schools that have offered. I think all of them are recruiting me about the same right now. I have a really good relationship with Virginia. Everything is good with Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Ohio State and everyone. They're still in the running."

All of these offers are attracting plenty of other schools.
"I've been hearing from Maryland, N.C. State and Michigan," he said. "I don't know when they might offer. Most of the ones I have now came out of nowhere so who knows when these might come in."
Simmons is done with visits for now while Ocean Lakes is gearing up for the 2013 season. He is planning on checking out a some games during the season and he already has one planned.
"I'll probably check out a few games during the year," Simmons said. "I'm going to the Virginia and Oregon game but that's the only one on the schedule right now."
Virginia, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Ohio State, North Carolina, Old Dominion and James Madison are the schools that have offered Simmons.
