"I've been talking to a couple of coaches like Coach (Larry) Fedora from North Carolina," the 6-foot-2, 233-pound Hill said. "I know a little bit about North Carolina. I know they put a lot of defensive linemen in the league.
"I don't know much about Duke, but they are on the rise," he said. "They've put some defensive linemen in the league too."
Hill hasn't been able to take many visits yet but hopes to go on a few later this season.
"I should be going to Duke in October and maybe Virginia Tech when they play Miami (on Nov. 9)," Hill said. "Hopefully I can get to a North Carolina and a Virginia game, but I need to look at the schedule."
Plenty of other schools are showing serious interest in Hill.
"I've been getting a lot of mail from Tennessee, Auburn, Penn State, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Clemson and some other schools," he said. "Some coaches from Pittsburgh came by the school the other day.
Hill participated in the Richmond RCS during the spring.
