2015 DB high on Duke, Georgia Tech

Class of 2015 Charlotte (N.C.) Christian defensive back Jaylon McClinton kept pretty busy this past fall, visiting plenty of schools for game day Saturdays. But when it came down to it, a couple of ACC schools ending up being his most enjoyable trips.
"The best was probably Georgia Tech or Duke," he said. "I went to the Duke-Miami game when they beat Miami and that was a pretty fun experience."

McClinton is still waiting on his first offer, but he thinks it won't be long until the Blue Devils join his list.
"I think they're very interested," he said. "I talked to [defensive backs] Coach [Derek] Jones recently and he said they would be back to see me this spring and I'm high on their board. "
McClinton said as Georgia Tech begins to hand out 2015 offers to out of state prospects, he hopes he's on the list.
"They're up there, too," he said. "They're just getting ready to start their out of state recruiting and they let me know I can expect to be in contact with them."
He's also preparing for a busy camp season in an effort to catch the eye of the other in-state programs.
"I want to go to N.C. State and North Carolina," he said. "Those are some in-state schools that I've talked to but I want to make sure they get a chance to see me and what I'm about."
