2015 CB sets top 5

Class of 2015 cornerback Jalean Perkins of Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips said his top five is Mississippi State, Miami, Ole Miss, Delaware and Tulane.
Mississippi State is a school that has caught Perkins' attention by putting in a little extra effort.

"They've been sending a lot of nice things to me and my mom," Perkins said. "They sent my mom a Happy Mother's Day card, you know, showing me that they're real interested."
Miami is in the mix because it was the first school to offer and Perkins said it will come down to the next six months for him to decide which school emerges.
"I like Miami a lot too," Perkins said. "I'm just waiting to see what happens once the football season starts to see who shows me the most love. (Mississippi State and Miami) are real close. They're my top two, but Mississippi State is showing a lot of love right now."
Ole Miss, Delaware and Tulane remain in the mix.
"At Delaware, they said I'm the No. 1 cornerback on their board," he said. "Tulane - they like me a lot. I think I'm No. 1 or No. 2 on their board. With Ole Miss, I visited them and I like them, but think they have like 17 cornerbacks already committed, so I would probably have to put in a lot of work there."
Perkins said he plans to schedule visits for this summer and during the season and predicts his top three will change based on those visits. He plans on going to Mississippi State first, possibly as an official.
