It's been a busy fall for 2015 cornerback Kobe Marfo out of Alexandria (Va.) Hayfield. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder has taken a handful of visits to schools and is seeing his recruitment pick up rapidly with the potential for an offer soon.

"Right now I'm getting a lot of interest," he said. "Kentucky, Auburn, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Oregon, Old Dominion and Virginia are interested."
A couple schools are really pushing hard according to the corner.
"I get a lot from Tennessee," he said ."Tennessee is supposed to be offering me soon I believe.
"They just call a lot and are developing a relationship with me. They always want me to come down for a game. I just feel they want me more. I'm getting a similar feel from Auburn too."
Marfo has been on a few visits including Old Dominion twice, Virginia, Penn State and Howard.
"I went to Old Dominion twice and I liked it there a lot," he said. "I also liked Penn State. They have a good tradition.
"Virginia was a humbling experience for me. Their football program isn't as good right now, but the next few years they'll be making some noise and the education is top notch."
According to Marfo, one school stands out.
"Oh yeah, Tennessee is at the top of the list," he said. "I'm planning to visit there in two weeks.
"I like Tennessee because of Coach Jones. He's a very intense guy, he brings it. I like the culture there and the type of defense they play. I feel like I could play there and be very comfortable. They also play a lot of top notch schools."
Marfo is eyeing potential visits to Clemson and Auburn sometime soon too.
On the year, Marfo has posted three interceptions on the year.
"I'm doing ok," he said. "I wish I'd make more plays, but I don't have as many passes come my way, so it gets a little frustrating. I just do my assignment."
Marfo is cousins to Indianapolis Colts safety Larry Asante.
