2015 Cali WR takes visits, names leaders

2015 wide receiver Cedric Peterson out of Moreno Valley (Cali.) Rancho Verde has taken a couple visits this fall. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder enjoyed both visits and went in-depth on them as well as the latest with his recruitment.
"I've been to USC and Arizona State," he said. "They were both pretty cool.

"I went to Arizona State with my quarterback and offensive lineman. It was pretty nice. It was really nice scenery there and I talked to the coaches a bit.
"USC was pretty cool too. The coaches were really cool and nice to talk to."
In addition, Peterson is hearing from one other school in Washington.
Of course, he still holds his lone offer from Colorado.
"I'm keeping in touch with Colorado," he said. "It's a pretty decent school. The interesting thing is that they offered me for defense. So, I'm practicing a bit of corner and I got my first interception last game. Defense doesn't really matter to me as long as I can help the team out."
According to Peterson, two schools stand out early on.
"I like USC and the fast-paced offense from Oregon," he said. "I just kind of like the way they carry themselves, the type of swagger they have and the big plays."
This season, Peterson has posted 11 touchdowns.
"I've just adapted a lot more this season. I'm helping my team move forward and we're in the second round of the playoffs."
