2015 ATH has two early offers

While everyone is focusing on the 2014 class, 2015 athlete Dontae Strickland is quietly starting to make a name for himself. The Monmouth Junction (N.J.) South Brunswick stand out has two early offers and is looking forward to getting more.
"The Virginia offer came in about three weeks ago after school and I heard about it from my coach a few days later," said the 5-foot-11, 176-pound Strickland. "I know a little more about West Virginia than I do Virginia.

"I got the Rutgers offer about three days after the Virginia one," he said. "I've grown up around Rutgers my whole life. Getting an offer from them and being able to play so close to home would be pretty awesome."
Strickland admitted that one school intrigues him.
"I've seen Maryland's facilities on TV and I like how they have been playing," said Strickland. "I also watched some of their highlights on YouTube the other day. I'd like to get down there for a visit."
Are any visits on the horizon?
"I've visited Rutgers for a practice and saw their facilities," he said. "I don't have any other visits set up yet. I'm just waiting to see what other schools come to see me."
Last season, Strickland helped South Brunswick to an 11-2 record.
