2014 WR taking it slow

As a 2014 prospect, Freddy Canteen is not too wrapped up in the recruiting process just yet. The wide receiver from Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy has five offers from Connecticut, Maryland, Hawaii, Rutgers and Temple but is taking things pretty slowly.
"All the schools are kind of the same right now," said the 6-foot, 175-pound Canteen. "I went to the Rutgers game against Louisville last week and I loved it. I thought the game was really good. They couldn't come out with the win but you know it was good.

"I think the move to the Big Ten is a great move," he said. "They can really show what kind of team they are against higher competition. It's also good move for Maryland to go to the Big Ten."
Which school might be the next to offer the Rivals250 four-star receiver?
"I've been in contact with West Virginia a lot but they usually go through my coach," said Canteen. "Wendell Smallwood and Daikiel Shorts are recruiting me pretty hard for West Virginia and they're also working on Jahmere Irvin-Sills."
Are his teammates' recruiting efforts working on him?
"I like West Virginia a lot, you know that offense at throws the ball a ton," Canteen said. "I talk to some of the coaches down there."
Canteen says there are no visits on the horizon as of now.
