2014 WR Godwin seeing recruiting rise

Middletown, Dela. 2014 wide receiver Chris Godwin still holds five offers. However, the 6-foot-2, 192-pounder is quickly gaining interest and is on the verge of pulling more.
"I have offers from Delaware, UMass, Rutgers, NC State and Boston College," he said. "This summer I went to South Carolina camp earlier and I also went to Penn State."

Interestingly neither school offered.
"Both teams were pretty interested," he said. "I went up to Penn State and did pretty well. Penn State said they were interested and that I'm on their radar. They told me I should be hearing from them soon.
"As for South Carolina, I had a previous hip injury going into the camp so I only participated in one session there. Both want to see a bit more this season."
On top of those schools, Godwin is getting looks from Miami, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Connecticut, Temple, Maryland and Virginia Tech.
The wideout maintains there are no favorites this early in the race.
"I'm still open to the whole process," he said. "I'm not really narrowing myself down to anything right now. I like all of the schools that have offered me.
"For me, I'm looking for a good system and somewhere I fit in and can become part of the team's success. I want a school with good academics and somewhere that feels like home."
