Middletown, Del. 2014 wide receiver Chris Godwin is continuing to see his interest rise. The 6-foot-2, 192-pounder claims five offers to date as he discussed the latest.
"I still have five offers from Boston College, Delaware, UMass, NC State and Rutgers," he said. "I have a few more schools interested.

"Ohio State, Miami, West Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Connecticut, UCLA and California are looking. Most of them are interested. Ohio State is showing a lot of interest."
Despite the consideration, Godwin has no visits planned in the near future.
"I'm not sure right now, I'm still looking into it," he said. "I may take visits or I might wait until the season is over before I focus more on the recruiting process."
Does the wideout like anyone?
"Right now I'm very open-minded," he said. "I haven't narrowed my mind down to a few schools or anything like that. I'll pick who I like more later."
The focus is primarily on the upcoming season, which has Godwin and Middletown, opening the season against Smyrna.
"We start the season on Friday," he said. "I've got a few personal goals for myself. I want to make all-state again this year and help my team make it to another state championship.
"I am seeing a difference in my play this year too. I'm a whole lot more confident in my route running and my ability on the field."
