2014 running back Coleman Blackston of Baltimore (Md.) Dunbar claimed one offer early. But now as he heads towards his junior season, Blackston updates his offer situation and which school has peaked his interest.
"I did have an offer from Old Dominion," he said. "I'm not sure what the situation is like now. They went to another conference and I don't know if they kept the offer out. I went to their camp a month ago and they told me they are going to stay in touch with me, but I haven't really talked to them."
Blackston, 5-foot-8 and 182-pounds, does have other schools looking.
"I'm getting a lot of letters and questionnaires," he said. "I've gotten stuff from Maryland, Colorado and Wisconsin."
Blackston is particularly high on one school.
"I really like Maryland a lot," he said. "I like the way Maryland's offense is and one of my teammates, Malik Jones is committed there. I just like the way they are looking right now. I wouldn't mind if they showed more interest. They haven't shown too much yet."
The Maryland prospect plans to head to a few games this season, including Maryland, but has nothing planned at this time.
The season kicks off on Friday for Blackston and Dunbar against Calvert Hall.
"I'm much quicker this year and a little more explosive," he said. "I want to have a big year. I'm looking at 10 touchdowns this season."
