Offers are starting to pick up for 2014 running back Derrell Scott. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder has three offers and is on the verge of a fourth according to his head coach.
"He's got four offers right now as a sophomore," Havelock, N.C. head coach Jim Bryant said. "East Carolina, South Carolina and North Carolina have offered.
"NC State is going to offer him as soon as he comes to a one day camp."

Bryant claims Scott is a real talent who posted 1,800-yards rushing and 12-yards per carry as a sophomore.
"He's unbelievable," he said. "He is the hardest working kid I've ever coached. He's got really good vision, is fast and hard to tackle. He's strong and is probably the best running back I've ever coached and I've coached for 16 years.
"He broke the school record for rushing yards in a season this year and only carried it 10 times a game. He was averaging 12-yards per carry."
Bryant touched on what makes Scott stand out.
"It's his overall physicality," he said. "He's explosive and explodes through the tackles. He can run away from people or over people and is good in the pass game too. He is the whole package at running back."
