"It was great," said an excited Ford. "I heard a lot of good things from the coaches. I was impressed with the fans and the atmosphere. And the coaches told me to just keep up what I've been doing this year, and that I was their quarterback of the future."
Up next for Ford is a visit to Rutgers this Saturday and then Penn State on the 27th.
"I attended games at both last year, so I'm definitely excited to get back and see the coaches, traditions and fans," said Ford.
Ford claims that Virginia, Pittsburgh and Maryland are currently recruiting him the hardest, along with Cincinnati, Rutgers, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Penn State.
On the field this fall Ford has completed 119 of 173 passes for 1,683 yards and 22 touchdowns, while also rushing for eight touchdowns, during the teams first six games.
"So far so good," said Ford. "We had one really tough loss, but we're back on track and hopefully we can keep putting up big numbers like we have so far."
Ford has definitely noticed improvements in his game compared to last season.
"I think that I've improved in every aspect of my game from last year," he said. "I still need to keep working on everything and always keep improving, but I'm happy with my strides from last year."
