2014 OL Stanley with four offers

Sophomore offensive tackle Donell Stanley of Latta (S.C.) currently is sitting at four offers, but with several other colleges showing interest the odds look good more are coming.
"I'm also hearing from LSU," Stanley said. "That's the big one. North Carolina and Oregon have sent me some mail. And Tennessee stopped by my school [Tuesday]. It was the safeties coach."

Thus far, Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina and Virginia Tech have offered. Asked if he had any early leaders, Stanley replied, "No sir, not yet."
"I've only visited South Carolina," Stanley said. "I also went to Clemson, but I just stopped by. I was at South Carolina the day of the spring game. It went good. I got a chance to talk to [assistant Shawn] Elliott. It went pretty good. Basically, he just said he has got a place for me, and that he wanted that to be my home."
What was the best part of the visit?
"I'd say going on the field before the spring game and just watching the players, and seeing what kind of team they have this year," Stanley said. "A couple of my friends are committed there - Bryce King and D.J. Park. And I'm friends with [2012 signee] Kwinton Smith. They live right down the road."
Next on the agenda is a busy summer.
"I'm going to a lot of camps, but my coach hasn't given me a schedule yet," Stanley said. "I know I'm going to Clemson and South Carolina. And I'm probably going to LSU and Alabama - and probably Virginia Tech since they offered. I'm going to go up there. I haven't been yet."
A verbal is a ways off, it seems.
"I think I'm going to commit at the end of my junior year," Stanley said.
