2014 four-star Holmes is a hot commodity

With a state championship hanging in the balance, Jalyn Holmes is focusing on his season more than his recruitment. After all, the defensive end from Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor already has plenty of offers to choose from. Which of the 14 offers have made an impression on Holmes?
"All of them stick out right now," said the 6-foot-5, 225-pound Holmes. "I like everybody right now. I'm pretty focused on the playoffs right now."

Holmes looks to be one of the top targets for many schools.
"I'm in contact with Alabama," the four-star junior said. "They haven't offered me yet but they seem to be coming after me pretty hard. Also, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Clemson and North Carolina are sending me a whole bunch of mail.
"I like Virginia and Virginia Tech because they're the home schools and I like both of their coaching staffs," explained Holmes. "I haven't gotten an offer from Alabama yet but I like them and their tradition. I like Clemson too and I had a good time on my visit down there."
Which school could pull the trigger next?
"South Carolina is sending me a lot of hand written stuff," Holmes said. "I like the way they use Jadeveon Clowney. I like the atmosphere when I watch their games."
Which schools does Holmes think he will visits?
"I haven't taken any visits yet but I think I'm going to the Virginia Tech and Virginia game on November 24th," he said. "I also want to visit North Carolina."
