2014 DT waiting patiently as interest rises
Hampton (Va.) Bethel defensive tackle Ricky Walker claims one offer to date. The 6-foot-1, 260-pounder has begun to see his recruitment rise, but who is taking a look.
"I still have the one offer from Virginia Tech," he said. "Right now I'm getting more letters.

"I've gotten some letters from Tennessee and Penn State. Those are probably the two schools starting to show more interest.
"I also heard my coach telling me that Maryland has been asking about me."
Has Walker taken any trips yet?
"I was planning to go to Virginia Tech last weekend, but I'm going to have to reschedule for the summer," he said. "I definitely plan to hit up Tech for a visit, but I'm not sure yet when I may be going."
Beyond that, Walker is remaining patient as he waits to see who else will offer.
Walker posted 75 tackles and 12 sacks as a sophomore as he earned second team all-district honors.
