2014 DT talks early offers

Even though Ricky Walker was disappointed he wasn't able to make it to his scheduled visit to Penn State, it sounded like he liked what he saw watching the game on TV.
"I didn't get to go because of the weather and all the hotels were booked up but I was really looking forward to it," said the 6-foot-1, 260-pound Walker. "I watched and it was a good first half. That wide out was really good and they made some little mistakes but everyone can't win every game."

The defensive tackle from Hampton (Va.) Bethel has offers from Penn State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Old Dominion.
"Penn State is a very good school," said Walker. "They brought in Bill O'Brien and a good coaching staff. They're looking pretty good so far. They had a five game win streak up until yesterday but it's still a good place to be.
"UNC is doing really well. I talk to the coaches on Facebook and everything and they seem to really like me and want me to be a Tar Heel," he said. "The new helmets and uniforms were pretty cool.
"Coach (Curt)Newsome from Virginia Tech came to the school and watched me play," Walker said. "They invited me to the Virginia game. They've been looking at me since I was a young buck in 8th grade."
Who does Walker think will offer him next?
"I would say N.C. State or Cincinnati is going to offer me next because they contact me through email and are sending me a ton of letters and information," he said. "They just staying in really close contact with me right now."
Bethel is 7-2 and headed for the playoffs. Walker has 70 tackles and 10 sacks so far this season.
