2014 DT getting all the info

Derrick Nnadi has a long road ahead of him. Right now, the junior defensive tackle from Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes has offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Old Dominion, Illinois, North Carolina and N.C. State. A few of these schools are already making a big impression on Nnadi.
"Right now, UVA and Virginia Tech are at the top and UNC is third," said the 6-foot-1, 307-pound Nnadi. "Virginia is a great school where you can get a good education. They're having a tough year but I think they can overcome and get some more wins.

"Virginia Tech is another place where you can get a good education. For me, Virginia Tech is all about tradition," he explained. "My dad went to school there. The Hokies were my favorite team growing up. My dad would tell me all about the school and the atmosphere down there.
What about the out-of-state schools?
"I actually really like North Carolina. It's a great place for a defensive lineman," said Nnadi. "I need to do more research on N.C. State and Illinois."
It seems like Nnadi is really focused on the in-state schools right now. Is location a big factor when considering a school?
"Location does kind of matter to me because I don't like traveling all that much," he said. "I did go to the Virginia Tech game in D.C. against Cincinnati."
Nnadi is having a stellar junior campaign and is focused on getting better.
"Overall the season has been going pretty great. I'm doing pretty well but there are a few things I need to improve on," Nnadi said. "I want to work on my pad level and my footwork."
Nnadi is leading the team in tackles with 86 and has two sacks.
