2014 DE Brown battling through tough start

Expectations were through the roof for sophomore defensive end Andrew Brown this season. The year hasn't gone exactly as planned for the 6-foot-4, 280-pounder to date, but he's looking to turn things up in a hurry.
"The season isn't going so good right now, we're 0-4," he said. "I'm definitely playing well. I'm about to get a sack roll going."

However, Brown hasn't been able to light up opposing offenses so far this season.
"I don't have any sacks so far, I just have tackles for loss. I could've had about four sacks, but the team always throws the ball away."
On top of that, Brown has battled through an injury.
"I've only played in two games because of a pelvic stress fracture," he said. "I'm 200% better now."
Regarding his recruitment, Brown is having a hard time getting out for trips this season.
"I'm going on visits after the season," he said. "I'm planning to go all over, Alabama, Florida, Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, LSU and many others."
One of the first will be a trip to Virginia Tech.
"I plan to get to Virginia Tech for a game when they play North Carolina."
Despite his youth, Brown holds three offers from Old Dominion, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
