2014 DC back claims one offer

Recruiting is heating up for Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High 2014 running back Troy Robinson. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder landed his first offer from the Big East and has a number of other schools looking.
"I have on offer from Syracuse," he said. "I haven't talked to their coaches lately, but I know a little bit about them since Antwon Bailey graduated from St. John's and goes there.

"I went up there unofficially with my coach my freshman year. I liked that they have indoor facilities and the coaches are cool."
Letters are coming in for the tailback from the likes of Oregon, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Rutgers and Miami.
"They just are all inviting me to their camps."
Currently, Robinson has no visits set for the near future.
However, he is hoping one school comes into the picture.
"My dream college is Wisconsin," he said. "I like that they run the ball a lot and always have big linemen. I want to be in a city, so Wisconsin is probably a good place. I plan on going sometime soon."
Despite a shortened season that saw him play in just seven games, Robinson ran for over 500-yards and six touchdowns while earning second team all-conference honors.
"I feel like I could have done better if I was healthy all season," he said. "I had an ok year. I think I showed I'm a hard worker, but I'm always working to get better."
