Junior athlete Foster Reznor of Grove City, Pa. missed the summer camp circuit because of basketball obligations but has made it a point to visit a few schools this fall. He will continue his busy schedule this coming weekend.
"I didn't attend any football camps this summer due to my involvement with an AAU basketball team," said Reznor, who is 5-foot-11 and 184 pounds. "My team qualified and participated at nationals at Disney."
Even though he missed the camp circuit, he is now making up for it.
"Recruiting is great," he said. "I've gone on recruiting visits to Penn State and Pitt so far this season. I'm also getting a lot of interest from Temple, Rutgers and Buffalo."
Reznor gave a quick recap of the two visits he has already taken.
"Both were excellent," he said. "Both schools have a great deal to offer. I also received a follow up letter from Coach Fisher from Penn State."
This coming weekend Reznor will return to Penn State for their game against Northwestern and mentioned that he is being recruited as a defensive back by most schools.
On the field this fall, Reznor is lining up at running back and cornerback, while also seeing time on special teams as the long snapper and returner.
"I'm off to a good start," he said. "I have five touchdowns and two interceptions so far this season. I also have a bunch of tackles."
