2014 DB hearing from trio of schools

Junior defensive back Rodney Williams of Cherry Hill (N.J.) West has been receiving steady interest from several BCS programs. He had the opportunity to attend a camp at one of these schools earlier this summer.
"Recruiting is pretty good," said Williams, who is 5-foot-10 and 175-pounds. "I'm receiving interest from Boston College, Iowa and Pitt so far"

During the summer Williams attended a camp at Boston College.
"It was really fun," he said. "We got to go out and work with some of the top guys from other areas. After we finished our hard work in drills we started the fun, which was the 1-on-1's. I stayed on the DB side and tried to go up and perform the most amount of reps as possible. I wanted to go against the best guys there and not give up anything, which I didn't."
Williams hopes to hit the road this fall for a few visits.
"I'm going to talk to my coach and see what's best, along with my family, but I've been invited to Iowa, BC and Pitt so far," said Williams, who is being recruited as both a defensive back and athlete.
Cherry Hill West opened their season this weekend, but Williams missed the game with a hamstring injury. When he returns, which should be this coming weekend, he will play cornerback and quarterback.
"I want to make honor roll, first team all-South Jersey at defensive back and take my team to the playoffs," said Williams. "I want to be able to lock down every receiver I face. I'd like to improve more on the offensive side at quarterback too."
