2014 CB Jordan picking up interest

2014 cornerback Jarriel Jordan is quickly gaining interest. The 5-foot-9, 160-pounder out of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha is still waiting for his first offer, but has numerous schools across the East Coast looking.
"I'm getting interest from a lot of schools, UMass, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Duke, Miami and Oregon," he said. "No one has offered yet.

"From the letters I'm getting at home, all of the schools are impressed with my speed and think they can use me on offense or defense. They all really want me to come up and visit."
Jordan noted no real favorites early on, but has ties to a couple of the schools.
"This summer, I went to Georgia Tech, Virginia, Maryland and Rutgers," he said. "I also visited Maryland for a game this fall. I really liked the Maryland game. Also, it helps that I have a relationship with Stefon Diggs, who goes there.
"That's the same for Virginia. Michael Moore is telling me how good it is there."
As he looks at schools more, what does Jordan want?
"I want a place where I could get a good education and follow my dreams," he said. "I want somewhere I can major in broadcast journalism. I want a place that is good in that field. Location isn't a big deal to me."
Jordan posted three interceptions this season as a junior for DeMatha.
