2014 ATH planning a few visits

Junior athlete Jahsiem Rover of Burlington Township (N.J.) Burlington attended a couple of summer camps and has continued to receive interest from a number of East Coast programs.
"Recruiting is going well so far," said Rover, who is 5-foot-8 and 186-pounds. "Coaches are starting to contact me more now that I'm officially considered a junior. It's just getting started."

Boston College and Penn State are currently showing the most interest, while during the summer Rover attended camps at Maryland and Villanova. He had also planned to attend camps at Boston College and Connecticut, but had to cancel because of family issues.
"The camps went well," he said. "I did pretty well. I made a few mistakes, but I got better."
Up next for Rover are a few possible visits this fall.
"I got invited to Penn State and Boston College," said Rover. "I'll most likely visit Penn State and I really want to visit Boston College, but I don't have a free weekend."
Rover knows what he will be looking for during these visits.
"I hope to see what the campus is like, the environment around it and the facilities," he said. "I would like to experience the feel of being on a top college field, the fans and the feel for the people on the campus to see if they're welcoming."
On the field this season Rover is lining up at free safety and running back.
"In the off-season I worked on improving my speed, footwork, quickness and my leg power," said Rover, who helped his team to a season opening victory last weekend against Willingboro.
