2014 ATH looking for more offers

Junior athlete Juwann Winfree of Englewood (N.J.) Dwight Morrow recently picked up his first offer from Pittsburgh and took a visit to Rutgers on Saturday with hopes of adding a second. A number of other schools are also showing serious interest.
"The visit went well," said Winfree, who is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds. "The facilities impressed me the most, especially the weight room. The student body and fans also impressed me because of how dedicated they are."

Winfree also discussed how he left off with a possible offer.
"They loved my film and they wanna get to know me better so they're gonna invite me to another game," he said. "There I could meet all the coaches and hopefully get an offer."
While he waits for a Rutgers offer, Pittsburgh was the first to pull the trigger.
"I'm excited about the school, I like the facilities and the coaches treated me well, so it's a place I can consider," he said. "I feel I can also fit in there with the other Jersey guys."
Winfree will look to stay busy with more visits this fall.
"Well Cincinnati invited me but I don't know if I'm gonna take a visit up there because of the distance," he said. "I'm probably going to take a visit to Penn State next. Their coach spoke to me and wants me to come."
Besides these schools, Winfree is also receiving interest from Georgia Tech, Ohio State and Old Dominion.
On the field Winfree has had an up and down season.
"My season is going okay," he said. "I'm not able to have the huge offensive year I hoped for because of our offense, but I'm making a few big plays."
Even with this Winfree is happy with how his game has progressed.
"I play wide receiver, cornerback and free safety, and I've noticed a huge improvement from last season," he said. "I've gotten faster and stronger, which makes me more of a threat. My skills on both sides got better."
