2014 ATH Hines sees interest rising

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian 2014 athlete Bo Hines has just one offer at this time. However, a huge junior season is quickly raising his profile and offers aren't likely far behind.
"NC State came in last week and has shown a lot more interest along with Virginia and then I went to Wake Forest this past weekend," he said. "I'm also talking to Duke. Most of these schools say I have to wait until the season ends."

Hines holds one offer from Charlotte at this time.
However, Wake Forest and Duke are very high on the wideout.
"Wake Forest and Duke both told me I'm the top slot wide receiver on their boards for the 2014 class," he stated. "The coach at Wake said it's a slow process for recruiting, but I don't need to worry about it."
Hines plans to take more visits in the coming weeks, this week to Ball State followed by Miami (Ohio) on Thanksgiving.
Back to Wake Forest, Hines discussed his trip there last weekend.
"It was nice," he said. "I really liked Coach Grobe and the organization. The school is nice and academics are important to me and it's a good academic school."
Does Hines like anyone?
"I really like Duke and Wake cause of the academics," he said. "They are in the ACC too and that's a good conference."
Hines has helped Christian to an 8-3 record as they head to the state championship this weekend.
"The season is going really well," he said. "We haven't lost to an in-state opponent this year.
"I'm having a pretty good year. I'm all-conference and all-state. My numbers have been pretty good. I know before Friday's game I had 38 receptions for 710-yards and eight touchdowns.
"The big difference this year is that last season I got hurt. I studied a lot in the offseason and my focus on technique and route running is better. It's a lot easier on the field."
A star talent in track too, Hines is ranked third in the state in the 100-meter. He noted he is focused on football, but is looking at potentially playing both at the next level.
