Junior defensive end Jason Hatcher of Louisville (Ky.) Trinity picked up his first offers during his 10th-grade season and they haven't stopped coming.
"I got one from Tennessee last week," Hatcher said.

To date, 13 schools have pulled the trigger for the 2013 standout, who will hold a live chat at 8 p.m. EST Wednesday at Rivals100.com. That group includes Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and the Vols.
At this stage, the 6-feet-2, 238-pound Hatcher has no leaders.
"It's too early," he said.
Who's recruiting him the hardest?
"I get about seven letters each day from FSU, Florida, Tennessee - they're all coming pretty hard right now," Hatcher said. "I think Florida State would be the next school to offer. They keep telling me to come down to some games. But right now, I'm working around my football schedule. I have to have some free time. "
Hatcher visited Tennessee last weekend.
"It was very nice," he said. "I loved the fan base. It was a very loud stadium. I liked all the renovations with their stadium and practice facilities. The coaching staff has been up to a game to see me and a teammate of mine play this season."
What's next?
"I'm going up to Notre Dame next weekend," Hatcher said. "That's our bye week. I know I'm also attending the Auburn-Alabama game. I think I might get out to Oregon, too."
In seven games, Hatcher has eight sacks. He leads his team in that category and tackles for loss. He recorded 15 sacks in 2010 while helping his squad win a state title.
According to Hatcher, colleges are recruiting him at strongside defensive end, weakside defensive end and even linebacker.
"A lot of schools are telling me what position I play in college will depend on how much weight I put on and so forth," Hatcher said.
