2013 RB has Ole Miss in front

OXFORD, MISS., -- During Saturday's camp at Ole Miss, class-of-2013 running back Jordan Wilkins of St. Benedict (Tenn.) was among the most impressive athletes on hand.
Therefore, it came as little surprise when the 6-foot-1, 193-pounder revealed he had picked up offers from the Rebels and Tennessee during the past week, giving him four total.

"I thought I did pretty good today," Wilkins said. "I ran some good routes and an alright 40 time. And my shuttle was pretty good. "
Earlier in the day, he spoke at length with Rebels coach Houston Nutt, he said.
"We talked about what I thought about the campus," Wilkins said. "He asked me how much I weighed and he said they need some running backs."
To say the least, Wilkins enjoyed his time in Oxford.
When asked if he had a leader, Wilkins nodded.
"I'd have to go with Ole Miss," Wilkins said. "I like the campus. It's not far from home. And I like the coaches. "
According to Wilkins, he nearly committed while in Oxford.
"I gave it some thought," he said. "I'm still thinking about it. I don't really know when I'm going to commit. "
A week ago, Wilkins camped with the Vols. In Knoxville, he also had a positive experience.
"It was a three-day camp," Wilkins said. "The coaches are real cool up there."
In addition to Ole Miss and Tennessee, Wilkins, who rushed for more than 1,500 yards in 2010 while producing 24 touchdowns, also claims offers from Memphis and Middle Tennessee. He said Mississippi State is showing interest, too, and thinks a Bulldogs offer is possible.
"They came by my school and got my highlight tape," Wilkins said. "They wanted me to come to camp but I've just been so busy."
