2013 OL up to three offers

2013 offensive lineman Marcell Lazard of Bloomfield (N.J.) is off to a fast start with his recruiting process. After picking up an early offer from Buffalo, Lazard has reeled in two recent BCS offers, has attended a summer camp at another and has two more camps lined up.
Lazard picked up his first BCS offer from Connecticut after a camp there two weeks ago. He followed that up earlier this week with his first ACC offer.

"Virginia offered me," said Lazard, who is 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds. "My coach called me down and said that Virginia just offered you."
Since Lazard has not had a chance to visit Virginia at this point, his knowledge of the program and school is still limited.
"I really have no thoughts about Virginia yet," said Lazard. "I haven't been to the school yet, but I want to."
Last weekend, Lazard attended a lineman camp at Rutgers.
"The camp was good," said Lazard. "The competition was great and same for the coaching. They did not say anything about an offer, but the o-line coach was very impressed with me."
Lazard will stay busy this month with two more camps.
"I'm going to BC on Saturday and Notre Dame when I come back," said Lazard, who is also receiving interest from Syracuse and Temple.
