2013 OL nearing SEC offer

Class of 2013 offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey has two verbal offers and could be on the cusp of another.
McGlinchey, a junior at Philadelphia (Pa.) William Penn Charter School, has offers from Boston College and Virginia, and he plans on visiting those two schools sometime this fall.

"I don't have any plans for the fall yet but I'll probably just visit those two since those are my two offers," he said.
The 6-foot-8, 285-pound lineman is taking a hard look at both those schools, and he has been keeping in especially close contact with one of them.
"I've probably been talking to Boston College more than Virginia," he noted.
McGlinchey believes he may be on the verge of his first offer from a school in the SEC.
"I feel pretty confident about Alabama. I've talked to them on a really consistent basis. That would be really reassuring to me, knowing that I would have the ability to play at a school like that. I wouldn't rush into any decision or anything, though.
"I have no idea what I want to do yet."
