ATLANTA - Junior offensive guard Jeremi Hall of East Point (Ga.) Tri Cities holds offers from Kentucky, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech, but a school that hasn't offered currently sits on top.
"The leader right now would probably be Georgia, "Hall told Rivals.com on Monday. "It's a powerhouse school and I really like it. It would be nice to get some type of championship my first year."
Hall, who is 6-feet-5, 335 pounds and starts at right guard, feels good about his chances of landing a Dawgs offer.
"The last time I was up there, they said they want all of us - me [and fellow Tri-Cities linemen Shamire DeVine] and Dominique Threatt," Hall said. "I should get [an offer] pretty soon."
According to Hall, who doesn't expect to make a decision until next season, he attended the Auburn-Georgia game this year in Athens, and came away impressed.
"It was real nice," Hall said. "I liked it there."
If Hall has a No. 2 right now, it's Georgia Tech, which isn't far from home.
"It's a great school, and I've been going to a lot of their games," he said.
Whom might be next to offer?
"Maybe Alabama," Hall said. "They've just been coming to the school a lot. They say what everybody they … like they want to offer, and they want to come back and check out my highlight tape."
This week in Atlanta, Hall is competing in the RisingSeniors.com Georgia Junior Bowl. He is optimistic the experience will be a positive one.
"Hopefully, I'll become a better leader, and have fun, and get more exposure," Hall said.
