2013 New Jersey WR has visits in mind

So far Rutgers is the only school that has offered junior wide receiver Charles Callinan out of Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound prospect is almost assured of more offers later in the recruiting process simply based on the amount of interest he's receiving from other schools.

"I've been getting a lot of mail," Callinan said this week. "It's been from about 20 or 25 schools so far so it's looking good. The most heavy interest is from Rutgers, Penn State, Boston College, Notre Dame, Stanford, Oregon, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan State and Tennessee."
Callinan said he's mostly focused on his junior season but he will be going to the Rutgers-Pitt game next week at Rutgers. He's also going to try to make it out to a game at Notre Dame sometime this year.
"I wouldn't say I have any favorites but there are a bunch of schools I like and want to visit," he said. "I definitely want to go visit Penn State, Notre Dame, Stanford, Oregon, Michigan State, West Virginia and Virginia."
So far St. Peter's Prep is off to a slow start. They lost their opener and then were blown out by St. Joseph's in a weak performance. The following week they bounced back and defeated North Bergen 24-0.
"In the first game I had eight catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns," Callinan said. "In the second game I had three catches and 55 yards. Most recently I had three catches for 107 yards."
