2013 Michigan corner has first offer

Earlier this summer one of the top rising junior defensive backs in the state of Michigan picked up his first verbal offer.
Chances are it will be the first of many before everything is said and done.

Jourdan Lewis, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound cornerback from Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech, picked up an offer from Toledo more than a month ago.
"It was about a month and a week ago when we were down there for a 7-on-7 tournament," he said. "They offered me down there.
"It's nice down there (at Toledo). I was there the year before for the tournament, too. I really like the campus."
Toledo will probably have some stiff competition soon.
"Michigan is looking at me," Lewis said. "So is Eastern Michigan, Akron and Vanderbilt.
"I've been to Michigan and Michigan State. We went to Michigan State for their spring game. It was nice. It was real nice. They showed us the trophy room and where all the students study."
As for early favorites?
"I don't know yet," he admitted. "I'm going to Tennessee and Alabama on Monday with a mentor of mine. I might know more after that."
