2013 LB returns from South Carolina

South Carolina hosted some of their top recruiting targets at the recent Gamecock Showcase and one of the best 2013 linebackers in attendance came away impressed by the entire experience.
Buddy Brown is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound rising junior linebacker from Williamstown, New Jersey, and he has early offers from Rutgers and West Virginia.

Recently, though, his focus was on the SEC school that has shown him the most love.
"I actually just came back from the Gamecock Showcase," Brown said. "I went down there and visited the school, too. I thought it was real nice. I haven't been able to get out to camps this summer because I'm doing summer school so I can graduate early.
"South Carolina is the one school I did get out to. I went down there and talked to Coach Mangus and everything. They took me around the school and I liked it a lot.
"They're going to be up to see my games this fall. I don't have any favorites yet but they're up there."
Rutgers and West Virginia are also high up there on his list.
"They're always going to be high on my list," he acknowledged. "They were the first two schools showing me the most interest and the first ones to offer. They're about even right now. Rutgers is the home state school so they're always going to be high."
Penn State, Wisconsin, Miami, Texas A&M and UConn are some of the other schools that have expressed an interest in Brown.
