2013 LB has top 5

It has been months since junior inside linebacker Johnny O'Neal of West Laurens (Ga.) landed a new scholarship offer. Good thing for him he already had several by the time spring practice wrapped up earlier this year.
"I really don't know off hand how many I have," O'Neal said. "I've been getting offers since I was a freshman. Florida was the first one to offer me."

Tuesday night, O'Neal released his current top five.
"It's Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee," O'Neal said. "I have offers from all of them. Mostly, I like their defenses, especially Alabama's. I like the way they play - how they compete and get after it. I'm getting a lot of letters throughout the week. I've been getting a lot lately. Alabama is sending me the most. Florida also sends me a lot of love, too. Especially letters. One of the Florida coaches (Brian White) came by our school a few weeks ago."
The 6-feet-1, 220-pound O'Neal has yet to make any visits this fall, but that will change this weekend, when he plans to attend the Georgia-Auburn game in Athens with his father. He was invited to last weekend's Alabama-LSU game but couldn't make it.
"I've talked to my dad about going to some other ones, but we still don't know yet," O'Neal said. "We still have to decide if we're going to some more. I want to go to some games. I'd like to go to Auburn or Florida."
A three-year starter, O'Neal recently completed his junior season. He averaged more than 10 tackles per game.
"Going into our last game, I had 115," he said. "In that game, I think I had either 19 or 20 tackles."
