2013 CB ready to hit the road

After his recent impressive performance at the U.S. Army All-American Combine, junior cornerback Tre Bell of Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep is hoping to transition that into more recruiting success. First up for Bell will be a few stops at upcoming junior days.
"Recruiting has picked up since the season," said Bell, who is 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds. "I'm getting more letters and I'm talking with coaches too."

Bell is claiming serious current interest from West Virginia, LSU, Notre Dame, Miami, Florida, Wisconsin, South Carolina, UConn and Syracuse. He hopes to visit a few of these schools for upcoming visits.
"I'm trying to get out to LSU, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and Miami," said Bell. "I just want a chance to get to meet the coaches, check out the facilities and find out some new facts about the school that I didn't know about going into the visit."
Along with these visits, Bell will likely look to test his abilities at a few camps and combines.
"I have to find out about more combines that are going on and I'm not sure yet if I'm going to camp this summer," said Bell. "If I do, it will be at a school I really like."
Bell already had a chance to test his abilities at the U.S. Army All-American Combine.
"Everything went well," said Bell. "I think I should have performed a little better, but I think it was pretty solid. The competition was great. I went against the top tier guys in the nation and I was able to interact with them outside of the combine."
During his junior season, Bell finished with 36 tackles, three interceptions and 10 pass break up's.
