2013 ATH staying busy this summer

2012 athlete Zayd Issah of Harrisburg (Pa.) Central Dauphin is considered one of the top players in his class in central Pennsylvania. Issah had a chance to showcase his abilities at two summer camps earlier this summer and has two more lined up in July.
"Recruiting has been great so far," said Issah. "I've just been going to camps and showing coaches what I can do."

Issah discussed his summer camp plans.
"I've been to Rutgers and Maryland last month and I'll be going to Virginia and Delaware this month," said Issah. "I wanted to go to a lot of others, but they were all on the same days."
Issah gave his thoughts on the two camps he already attended.
"I did really well at both camps," said Issah, who is 6-foot-3 and 205-pounds. "They seemed to be impressed with me, especially at Rutgers."
With Rutgers giving him the most positive feedback at this time, Issah discussed his thoughts on the Scarlet Knights.
"I like them a lot," said Issah. "I met Coach Schiano and a lot of the other coaches on a visit I took during the school year. They're all great, and the facilities are real nice."
Pittsburgh and Maryland are two other schools showing a great deal of interest in the early stages of Issah's recruiting process.
As a sophomore, Issah rushed for 1,653 yards and 23 touchdowns on 253 carries, while adding 17 receptions for 152 yards and one touchdown. This fall he will line up at running back, wide receiver and outside linebacker.
"Everything is starting to come together," said Issah. "I really wanted to get faster this summer and I ran my first 4.5 40 a few weeks ago, so it's starting to pay off."
