Offers are starting to come in for 2012 linebacker Calvert Cook. The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder pulled his first two scholarships in the past week including one from a Division I program.
"I got offers from NC Central and Western Kentucky," he said. "I'm excited about them, they are good offers."

Cook is getting interest from numerous other schools as well.
"Alabama, Penn State, Miami, Maryland, Virginia and Duke are showing interest."
Does Cook like anybody?
"Miami and Alabama," he said. "I just like how they run their defenses."
Cook is looking for a few things in his future potential home.
"I'm looking at how the environment of the school is, I like a city atmosphere," he said. "I'm looking at what majors they are offering too, that's about it."
To date, the Norfolk (Va.) Booker T. Washington prospect has yet to take visits.
On the field, Cook earned first team all-district honors after posting 105 tackles and one interception.
"I did well, I was one of the best players on the defense," he said. "I think my ability to tackle and football IQ are good.
"I'm still working to improve my speed and strength."
