2012 New York RB talks recruiting

Dominick DeLucia is one of the top junior running backs from New York and the 5-foot-9, 201-pound back recently spoke about the recruiting process.
At this point DeLucia is doing all he can to maximize interest from schools and get his name out there, but that should come if he continues to show the kind of improvement that has taken place over the last year.

DeLucia runs the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds, and depending on how his body and game matures over the next couple of years could even project as a fullback in college.
This summer DeLucia did attended several recruiting related events.
"I was able to go to the Princeton football camp and I went to a lot of the National Underclassmen [Combines] but no other camps," he said. "I think I did really well at the Princeton [camp] and pretty well at the [NUC]. I got invited to the Top Prospect [Camp] out in Oklahoma.
"I think that was like there weeks ago. I feel like I did alright. It was really hot and I wasn't really used to that weather but I think I did pretty well. I caught all the passes that were thrown to me and I think I performed pretty well at least personally. I don't know what the coaches or supervisors saw but I think I performed to the best of my ability."
DeLucia said he has no favorites and is open to all schools at this point.
