2012 MD back is gaining interest

2012 running back Kenneth Goins out of Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School is gaining interest quickly. The 5-foot-10, 210-pounder is getting looks from a number of colleges already.
"I haven't gotten any offers yet, but I have interest from Wisconsin, Penn State, Connecticut, Iowa and I think Pittsburgh," he said. "My favorite school is Penn State. That school has always caught my eye, there is something about the program. I know a lot of people that go there."

While Goins hasn't visited anywhere to date, he confirmed he plans to take visits later this fall.
Following last season playing defensive end, Goins is making the full-time move to running back.
"I think I'm doing pretty well," he said. "I'm trying to get better and I'm seeing a lot of improvement from last year in my form. I'm stronger and quicker. I still want to work on my blocking."
As a sophomore, Goins posted 15 sacks on his way to all-conference honors.
