2012 corner favors UNC, UCF

The early stages of the recruiting process are going pretty well for Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep junior cornerback Yuri Wright.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound corner from the Class of 2012 has already received six verbal scholarship offers.

Boston College, Maryland, North Carolina, Pitt, Rutgers and UCF are the schools that have verbally offered Wright thus far. He has only visited one of those schools but two of them are already standing out above the others.
"I've been to Rutgers," Wright explained. "I just went to watch one of their games. I didn't really get to visit.
"I'd say my favorites are probably UCF and North Carolina. I've just always wanted to go to North Carolina and UCF seems like a pretty good school."
All of the schools listed above have been recruiting Wright as a cornerback.
This fall Wright picked off five passes and returned two for touchdowns, establishing himself as a lock down corner for Don Bosco heading into his senior season next fall.
"We (Don Bosco's players) are going to the Boston College camp because we usually do that," he explained. "I'll probably go to some other camps, too."
