"I got an offer from NC State last week," Severin told Rivals.com over the weekend. "I'll probably try to get down there for a visit sometime."
While he hopes to visit NC State in the near future he has definitive plans to visit a Big Ten school this coming weekend.
"I'm going to Penn State this Friday," Severin continued. "I've been talking to them a lot. I definitely like them because of how prestigious they are. Obviously Joe Pa is one of the best college football coaches of all-time, so I'm excited."
Penn State has not verbally offered Severin but they have shown a lot of interest.
Severin is also going to Notre Dame's game against Army in Yankee Stadium in November. He hopes to attend the Vanderbilt-Wake Forest game on November 27 as well.
On the season Worcester Academy is 3-3 with two consecutive losses. Severin has 22 receptions for 310 yards.
